Photographs and pictorial representations shown in our website are the property of Flowers by La Terre’s, and may not be copied and used for any purpose unless specifically approved and authorized by Flowers by La Terre’s.
Photographs are intended to depict the general theme and value of floral arrangements. Substitutions, as described below, may sometimes be necessary to fulfill a particular order.
Flowers are a live, perishable, and seasonal product. It is often necessary for us to make substitutions in an order when the original flower is not locally available, or is out of stock. We must therefore reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary. When we do make substitutions, we guarantee the following:
We will always substitute a flower which is equal in value to or greater in value than the original flower.
We will always choose a substitute that does not compromise the visual theme and appearance of the design.
We will strive to use flowers that have similar visual traits as the original. We will always strive to match overall shape, texture and colour rendition.
The sizes and shapes of vases and containers may also be substituted when necessary. However, we will never substitute a plastic or ceramic container when a glass vase has been chosen, and we will never substitute a lesser priced vase or container.
We offer deliveries from Monday to Saturday. Our local delivery charge (within Edmonton) is $15.00. Our delivery time frame is 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We require minimum 24-hour notice for delivery orders.
We also deliver to surrounding communities, including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Beaumont, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Leduc. Delivery charges will vary according to community location.
We do not generally deliver on Sundays or statutory holidays. We can attempt to fulfill such requests; premium delivery rates will apply in those circumstances.
It is our policy to contact the recipient prior to delivery to ensure they will be available to accept their gift.
We cannot provide delivery by a guaranteed time. We can normally comply with morning or afternoon delivery requests, except on specific floral celebration events including the week of Valentine’s Day, the week of Easter, the week of Mother’s Day, and Christmas week. At those busy times, deliveries can occur well outside of the normal delivery time frame.
If delivery is attempted but cannot be completed for reasons beyond our control – for instance, we are given a wrong delivery address, or the recipient is not available after advising us they will be available – additional delivery charges will apply for re-delivery.
In times of severe inclement weather, deliveries may have to be postponed. In those events, we will deliver on the next available day.
We will in some circumstances leave flowers at the door or with a neighbour if requested by the recipient or by the sender. In those circumstances, the buyer assumes full financial responsibility if the flowers are destroyed or not received by the recipient.
